for allowing LSU's D to perform against the half spread, half spread-option, uptempo offense that we'll see against AU

....now let's pray a miracle happens and BR can host the game saturday, or we find a place (shreveport?) to play it in LA

I would not want to go into Auburn with only that App State experience under our belts.

If LSU and Auburn played next week, LSU would win. That's why I'm thankful for the next two weeks to be able to make our offense not.. suck.

SFP, what did you think of the defense that the Tigers played against Slappy Appy's spread / zone read option runlike hell offense.

we did well

they passed a LOT more than anyone anticipated and it shook us up early

edwards played great considering everything, and he bought some time and made some plays. that will happen

troy's offense > ASU's offense, but troy doesn't have edwards

The schedule sets up well as in App. St we saw a game breaking QB and the spread option attack and in troy we get to see the Auburn style offense. This is like playing a scout team that is way better than practice in a real game atmosphere.

has there ever been a year where SEC fans were so modest about their teams?
everyone in the country is gushing about the SEC, and everyone in the SEC is talking about how bad their teams are..

I thought it was interesting that Coach used Jefferson as part of the scout team for practice.
You thinking he will be that type qb for LSU? I forget who the wr/qb was.

no, but i've heard about it

people thought i was joking when i said AU was just not that good this year

their offense has "fricking horrible" potential this year. they need a 2-dimensional QB and have 2, 1-dimensional guys. they need quick linemen for the zone-blocking and have big hog mollies. they need WRs when they go spread and they have 0

It's because we know what a fine line it is in this conference between winning and losing. All the teams are good. Some are amazing. In order to win, you have to be better than amazing.

And that's why OSU will lose horribly again this year. Wish we could start bitch slapping USC, but they'll lose to OSU.

AU? they have 2 guys. 1 mobile guy who sucks arse at passing and 1 small guy who can't run but is pretty accurate

troy has a 2-way guy

No Slo Flo i was meaning JJ. To run the spread for LSU.

Miles had him doing it in practice for prep against Slappy Appy.

Most say this kid can do it. I have never seen him play.
