Thinking about trying to stop Hitler...Could you convince anyone that this dude was going to kill millions of Jews? It's so terrible that I think it would be impossible to get someone that could actually do something about it to believe you.

It would be impossible to convince anyone that killing an infant was a righteous thing and the time traveler explanatioon would just affirm that you're crazy. So if you did smother baby Adolf with a pillow, you would have to be prepared to accept the consequences, assuming you can't hop back into your time machine.
