This is definitely one of those stupid games stupid prize; made your bed, lay in it; don't do the crime if you can't do the time...24 years may be harsh. But if he took into consideration all the variables that could happen if things went wrong while racing he wouldn't be in this situation. So oh fricking well

Need to bring back hard labor camps for situations like these. 10 years hard labor in the sun is more likely to teach a lesson than 20 years twiddling your thumbs in a jail cell.

So 24 years will rehabilitate him more than 18 years will?
Teenage boy, lack of criminal record, non-violent history. Take away his license and what threat is he to society?

There are murdered who have served less. It’s not a “oh fricking well” situation. That is what’s so wrong with the judicial system. There isn’t any consistency, just people saying “oh fricking well”. Meanwhile murderers, rapist and felons walk our streets, because the system had the same attitude.
