He wasn’t replaced by a “glorified D-Line coach” because of politics. It was because Alleva was incompetent in the search. Your post explains nothing, it’s just a blanket excuse with no substance.
Additionally, I find the unfounded strawman beneath it equally disappointing. Brady would have still been an assistant with the Saints. It’s no like anyone on earth (even Saban) saw what this guy was going to be except Ed.
Aranda’s unit took until the A&M game to find its footing. You sound salty as hell, and back up your points with nothing.

This is BS and you know it. He was hired due to a successful coup pulled off by certain individuals in the athletic department and "the local" media.

allow me to fix this one for you.

An offense that possessed the ball for literally a few minutes of real time and many time a minute or less of game time was going to leave a tired defense. We've seen this for a decade now dating back to Oregon Ducks and Cam Newton's Auburn team having the EXACT same issues.
... and lets not call that unit 100% Aranda's. O started meddling in it and forced Dline stunts etc wanting the Defense to be more aggressive and philosophically changing it at its core from Aranda's design.
Ofcourse, O would only have so much say so in Aranda's defense despite the consistent smears and political attacks against him thus leading to his boy Bo Pelini!!! coming back to town.
Yeah, we saw how that worked out.

True, but I still have no clue as to who would have been a better hire than the "Shrimp Boat Captain".
