Had ADT and now have SimpliSafe. I also have APS at my office.

I find all of their services to be identical .They call if an alarm is triggered and you do not shut it off with the master code. They try to reach out to the numbers on the list before just sending out the police (some jurisdictions have fines for "false alarm responses").

The difference to me comes in the product itself. And, with everyone stepping up their game, all of the products are very similar and they all offer similar products (wireless sensors, motion, cameras for indoor & outdoor, FOB keypads...). I like Simplisafe's products a lot more than ADT or APS, and love that I can adjust it how I want (name the sensors how I want). I think ADT has a superior app. But, that was a non-deciding factor to me because I have my camera system separate from the alarm companies.

I was paying $60.18 a month for ADT, pay $24.99 per month for SimpliSafe. APS is a different set-up because it is a warehouse and is not comparable, but pay $42/month
