re: New Truck Purchase Question

The world is moving to EVs. If you're purchasing a gas burner expect it to drop in value even more than normal because at some point they won't even sell them anymore and it will be considered old technology. That's not to say gas vehicles are going anywhere anytime soon, but they will definitely stop selling them at some point, probably sooner than you think and most vehicles will move to electric.

ETA: I can't wait until all vehicles are self-driving. Get in, crack a cold one, relax and watch the game or take a nap. Wake up at your destination. No more red lights, much less traffic congestion.
