Bennie won't have a spot unless he is offered a grey shirt.

There just aren't enough spots left for him to be part of the 2009 class. He would be a very good pickup for 2010 IMO.

I'm sure the staff will evaluate him some more over the course of the next year.

Bennie Logan caught the staff's eyes during the camp...spots are slim though!

How good is Bennie...seriously, how would he compare to any current player on LSU's roster?

I would Agree with that assessment but I think he has the frame to hold 30 or 40 more lbs in a couple of years Richard reminds me of highsmith with a little more speed. They r really hitting the wights this season Bennie is up to 246 and Richard is up to 208 both look and play good ball

Bennie reminds me of Kirston Pittman in everyway. If Tennessee comes around with an offer he will be a Vol. Richard reminds me of Danny McCray. He is a hybrid LB/S. I forsee him being a safety in college. Both work very hard in the weight room. They are both cut and are <1% body fat.
