I love Brennen but he’s too slow and our 3 rd down conversion rate was horrible with him starting

Brennen

The kid has been at LSU for years, has a famous last name in South LA, and it’s incredibly easy to spell - yet I still see people misspelling it on here

Brennan just looked nervous as hell against a poor Mississippi state team. His pocket awareness was awful too. In that game, he actually stepped up in the pocket, into a sack, a couple times. I think that was the biggest difference between Max Johnson and Brennan, and why people are hoping to see more of Johnson. Brennan was a red shirt Junior who looked scared for his life early in the season, while Johnson didn't look nervous at all as a true freshman. I guess we'll see how it goes. I'll cheer for both, no matter what happens.

MB was 11/39 (0/10 vs Mizzou with torn ab)

Max was 13/36 (starting. Didn’t do every 3rd down)

Both are terrible. I think our 3rd down play calling was the issue. We should be better this year regardless.
