This is a direct quote from you:

quote:

the proposition is NOT that NO Blacks can obtain a government ID, but rather that a larger percentage of Blacks than Whites lack the opportunity to do so

Where are the examples of people who lack the opportunity to get an ID? Please explain exactly why they lack that opportunity and why most of them are black.

It doesn't matter anyway. That's a red herring reference. We don't hold elections based on percentages of different races. It's based on pure numbers. So even if it's true (and I'm confident it's not) it's a smaller number of blacks affected, which is all that matters in an election.

I addressed one example earlier in the thread.

Person HAS a driver’s license. He gets an expensive citation for speeding and is unable to pay the fine. His license is suspended, and he no longer has a “valid photo ID,” Why can he not pay that fine? Because he is poor and lacks the liquid resources.

At this point our Person could be a member of ANY race. But the simple, objective fact is that Blacks are statistically over-represented amongst those who are so-poor as to find themselves in this untenable situation. There are hundreds of reasons this might be the case, but it IS an objective fact.
