For several decades the election pattern has been to suffer through liberal idiocy, elect a Republican to fix the mess, then elect another dim party moron to screw things up again. Wash, rinse, repeat, i.e. carter -> Reagan, 0bama -> Trump. However, now the liberals, who have become leftists and communists, have taken things further by cheating to take control of government. A move, apparently, that caught the GOP by surprise and unprepared. Honestly, I real don't know if the people can take back control of the country. The 2022 elections will be the first test. Clearly voting will have to be very closely monitored now that the dim party has proven they are unscrupulous liars and cheaters. Assuming the people can regain control of the government a few thing MUST happen IMO. First, and most importantly, is to establish media accountability. Pass legislation to make it much easier to sue the media for lying, suppressing valuable info, favoring one party over the other, etc. The media (press) should be free from government control, but should not be free from accountability to the people they are supposed to be serving. Fix this one problem and most other problems will go away. For this to happen people can't continue to reelect the same do-nothing, self interested clowns we have now. With a few exceptions, we need a complete removal of the current "representatives". This is where people need to pay close attention in the primaries with the goal of not reelecting the same idiot again. They'll have to ignore what the media says about candidates and read the candidates platform and determine if the candidate has the character to follow through on their public positions. One of the platform issues conservative candidates should run on is media accountability. Will any of this happen? Of course not.
