Whereas a complete drop of all episodes at once let’s you do whatever the hell you want.

Exactly. I see absolutely no problem with releasing them all at once. The majority of people who argue oppositely are those who enjoy online discussion and theory positing.

And spoilers. Right now you only have to worry about one episode every Thursday or Friday morning. Releasing all the episodes at once and it’s a battle of who can keep their mouth shut or who you can avoid.

The main benefit of streaming isn’t suppose to be that you watch an entire active season at once. It’s not having to be at your tv at this particular time to watch the episode.

And I’ve said before I don’t believe every show should have weekly releases, just the prestige/big ticket ones. I don’t care if all the episodes of The Ranch or The Handmaid’s Tale or A Day at Disney or whatever are released at once. All of that is niche or filler between big releases.

Some people wants you to control the way YOU experience things. Take gamers for example, in world of warcraft, because some a-hole decided he hated flying, he decided no one should be able to fly anymore so the game could be more "immersive."

Same shite with this bullshite from disney. The reason why a lot of Netflix dump shows failed is because those shows lack quality control. They could throttle the release date all they want but shite show is shite.

Stranger Things dropped all at once, people love it talk about it, millie bobby brown is almost a house hold name now. Umbrella Acadmey was also yet another thing people enjoyed in bulk, there was hype surrounding season 2, it wasn't the best due to Eliot Page acting but it wasnt bad. Then there is Witcher which also released everything and people licking their chops for season 2.

So if a shite show have to throttle to gain interest, the show is still shite.
