yep, thats pretty much it. same way with the grips. if you clean them good and they still feel slick its time for a change, but depending on the brand/style of grips they should stay pretty tacky for a while especially if they aren't played that much. I play 50-60 times a year and my grips are good for 2 seasons.

I learned from a caddy on YouTube that Windex works great on grips. It’s a degreaser. I like it
