WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: Nightmares are Born Edition

If you missed it last night... after FastLane ended WWE announced that Andrade "Cien" Almas has been given his release and is now a free agent... after his 90-day no compete clause expires in mid to late June

No word on what role... if any... Charlotte Flair had in getting WWE to relent and grant Andrade's request for his release... but the timing is interesting considering Charlotte's image has been disappearing off of all Wrestlemania promotional items which may have more to do with Charlotte getting a movie role than the Andrade situation

Also of note following the show last night... if it seems that the high flyer Mustafa Ali is wrestling a more ground-based style as of late... it's not just because he's a heel now... but rather because he's apparently wrestling on a torn PCL in his knee

Tonight's Monday Night Raw comes from the WWE Thunderdome inside of Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. as we are now speed bump free on the road to Wrestlemania

How is Sheamus rewarded after losing that no holds barred match with Drew McIntyre last night? He gets to fight the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley on Raw tonight in a non-title match

Asuka gets to face off with everyone's favorite Australian... no not vegemite sandwiches... Peyton Royce

Randy Orton has decided it would be a wise idea to summon The Fiend... so he'll do that tonight

And also on the negative side of the dream scale... "The Nightmare" Rhea Ripley finally makes her Raw debut... probably to startto position herself as Charlotte's replacement in the Raw Women's Championship match at Wrestlemania

Former WWE Champions collide as Kofi Kingston takes on AJ Styles

And in a main event match from about 2008... The Miz takes on Jeff Hardy
