2 possibilities
1. Don't want to bring a bruther down. hell, twitter tweeters aren't saying anything about him, especially the #metoo crowd, and they are going full force on white actors, singers, politicians,etc.
2. They feel lawyer is so sleezy, that if they buy into it immediately, and it turns out fake, they could get crushed by cancel culture, and for some, their whole livelihood is based on these shows. Cancel culture never forgets those who went along with allegations.

Anyone with a brief knowledge of who he is, that would be enough reason as to why they would hold off on anything involving this, even despite the # of accusers
