Lsu has been fantastic at steals all season and has been a terror in the paint defensively the last 3 weeks. Lsu has been great at help defense getting a hand in to create a turnover or at least disrupt. I think that's the key against Dickinson. Don't try to beat him in size. Get to him before it's a factor and it's something lsu has done well against the last several opponents.
Unfortunately for mich, lsu's weakness, transition defense, is not a strength for them, transition offense.
The perimeter is the biggest problem for mich. Lsu is fast, long wingspan and versatile. I just don’t see them beating the tiger guards 1 on 1 on either end. That opens up everything for Watford and days.
Lsu is playing at a higher gear lately and I'm not sure how many teams can match that given lsu's caliber of player. Javonte was occasionally sloppy earlier in the season but has noticeably improved as a point guard.
I mentioned in the other thread that mich and osu were roughly equal in their last 2 games and osu is definitely not a better team than lsu.
