You can already tell that he is constantly pissed whenever they lose and/or when he is taken out late in the game. The walrus needs to tell him straight up to be the guy. Plain and simple. At least thats what I would do. But also in order to be the guy, I don't think he should be taking plays off on defense or going for rebounds. So maybe fix that first lol

That's what he needs, but not having even played a full season of games yet, he may not feel like he should have that voice right now.
Hearing it from a coach, and hearing it from another player, especially one that is respected, carries 2 different types of weight with players.
