I know a few people with it. All men between 40-70. None stopped living their life. Each of them have different symptoms but all have quality of life. One is about 65 now and had to retire early due to it but he still gets around ok.
One guy ended up in a wheelchair for a while but through therapy and medicine he is back walking again and hiking. Don’t ever give up.
