re: Need a New Roof

We bought out home knowing the roof needed to be replaced. Had their insurance review to see if it was covered and it was denied. So we negotiated the price down based on an estimate from a roofing company. Wasn't leaking, so we waited a few years. but ultimately had it replaced last year. Only choice was to come out of pocket. Simple roof and cost was ~15,000 here in TX.

If it was disclosed prior to sale, there is really nothing you can do from what I understand.
