Vistage vs. Goldman Sachs programs

Does anyone here have experience with either Vistage small groups or Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small business programs? Goldman program was recommended by a trusted friend who is familiar with both. So far I have received minimally helpful advice/teaching from my three Vistage one on one meetings. Asking about New Orleans area specifically, but of course advice from those of you in other locations is always welcome too.

Vistage is not cheap, whereas GS is free. Vistage seems to be dependent on the members of your small group, versus the GS groups being larger in size and more diverse in their makeup. Not sure of the time commitment of either.

For context, I am the "heir apparent" to become the new managing partner of our medical practice once my senior partner retires this time next year.

Any advice is appreciated.
