Anyone shoot/have any reviews of the Christensen Arms Mesa? I want another rifle and I’m looking at the Mesa in 7mm-08. Looking for a light weight rifle and something my daughters can shoot when they are ready.

I sell them a bunch. They are fine. It's a rem700 with the proper m16 extractor. They are light. I would go with one of the new cerakote Tikkas though. Better gun overall.

I'm looking for a Surefire suppressor, recommendations for a 11.5 and a 13.9 5.56 AR?

I have a Christensen Arms Mesa in 7mm-08 that I will sell. Only owned one season and hunted with a handful of times.

Do you not like the rifle or caliber?

Only rifle cans I recommend are CGS. They make the best stuff in the world and nothing comes close. Their full size hyperion is 9.5 inches, weighs 15 ounces and on a 22 inch 6.5 creed it is as quiet as a suppressed.22 pistol to your ear. Nothing is close to that quiet. Their hyperion K is ligher and shorter than a sico omega, just as quiet, and with 1/3 the backpressure. Their AR15 designed can (Helios QD) is as quiet as a Thunderbeast ultra 9 and is shorter. They are releasing a titanium version soon. It'll smoke any surefire in sound performance and has less backpressure. The Helios is belt fed rated. Go with a CGS. Read pewscience.com for the best independent silencer testing. Come see me if you have questions or want to put hands on the stuff.

SOCOM 556 (not the mini) if you want a surefire. Went down this road, got the socom 556 after i shot it next to the mini and have no regrets.

Forgot to mention, on CGS rifle cans, you can add vented front end caps to where the can will work like a flow through silencer (think OSS).

Huge Christensen fan here, have three myself and a Tikka. For my daughter, the Tikka Forest is a great choice at half the price. Let them save their money and buy their own $1200 rifle. Hahaha!
