That's the one I was thinking of picking so I'll just go with it. Talented writer, no doubt. And the most pretentious thing I've ever read, especially his forward. There are parts I enjoy, but overall I loath the book.

Catcher in the Rye too. I hated in as a teenager, and stupidly read it as an adult thinking I'd like it better with more life experience. Nope, still terrible.
