I work with someone that makes a good salary, over $150,000 per year, and she has some of the most jacked up teeth Ive ever seen. Its weird. Some people just dont give a shite. You will notice quite often that TV personalities will have a their top teeth straight and practically bleached white but the bottom row is jacked and yellow.
I've worked with probably a dozen people over the years that went for braces as an adult. Makes me glad I had them back in high school. But with Invisalign and tons or orthodontic options these days, and knowing how much they cost since I'm paying for my daughter's, I don't see why any professional wouldn't get their teeth straightened. Our insurance through work even covers a portion of the cost. I think it was a one-time $1,750 payment for each of us and dependents. My total was about $4,300 and we're spreading out balance over the estimated duration of her treatment, which was either 27 or 30 months. Less than $100 a month and hopefully she won't have to deal with it as an adult.

I got braces when I was 56 years old, got the regular old brackets, and wires since i didnt really care what anyone thought aboutit. The upper teeth are easier to straighten than the lower teeth, I would have had to have had lower teeth extracted due to crowding, and said no thanks to that. Probably a lot of older people made the same choice and just straighten the top.
