Arnold and Gio (upon return) would be perfect 8-9 hole options

Sounds great until you play a close game with the last two outs being Thompson and Milazzo.

You have to put your worst hitters somewhere, and that means a good hitter will come up with no runners because they were put out. If Crews is such a great RBI guy that you feel compelled to have runners on for him, then move him back to three. Giving more at bats to crummy hitters is NOT the answer!

Lead off equals at least 25 more AB’s this season. Just put a high OB % guy in the 9 hole.

Who is calling Morgan a crummy hitter? I think everyone on here that wants to move Crews back wants to move him to 2nd or 3rd in the lineup. We want Morgan in front of Crews, not Milazzo.

Through 9 games this season, the one and two spot in the LSU lineup has the same amount of plate appearances.

Over the course of the full season, there may be a difference of two, three at most. I’d gladly give up those three plate appearances to get Crews up to bat with more runners on base.
