definitely sucks. weird thing is, if i have a few drinks beforehand i can smoke with no issues. gotta be a mental thing i guess

I'm same way. Hard exercise before smoking helps too. Nowadays I just take a single hit and wait 20 minutes. If I feel good with no panic I'll take another.
I had full blown panic disorder whether I smoked or not but smoking was def a trigger. A year on low dose SSRI helped and now I rarely get them. Its not just a mental thing necessarily.
