I've got about 82k on the F150,

Friend of mine has 200k on his 2011 Eco-boost- we just had a conversation about it a few weeks ago because I was considering reading mine in (2013 with 79k). He said it’s solid as long as the turbo doesn’t go out. I hope so- I’d like to get another 79k out of it. I don’t drive like I used to- I gave my Grand Cherokee to my MIL after 8 years and 160k. She’s probably put 5k or less on it in the past 7 years ??

So a twin turbo charged motor is solid unless the turbos go out?

Is your friend John Madden?

2011 Ecoboost here. 150K on it. Pretty sure I blew a turbo this week. About to take it to the shop to see what is going on.

I will say I have had a tune on my truck since 25,000 miles pushing way more boost than stock. If it is a bad turbo this will be the first major problem besides a water pump that I have had in five years.
