Plus the league was just better in 84 than it was in 83, lot of East teams improved and matured I mean HOW DO YOU LOSE IN THE FIRST ROUND TO THE NEW JERSEY NETS when you return basically everyone from the championship team?? Gotta be because the East improved that year from the previous, gotta.
