I think it’s the SIGNIFICANTLY wider net LGBTQ casts today versus just 2 years ago.
Fluidity, for example, or “questioning” weren’t really a thing then. Now those people are being counted.
That said, I think there are probably less closeted gays today than in 17 due to mainstreaming of gay lifestyles.
