Looking up at the ceiling inside a place like the superdome gives me massive anxiety for some reason.

I get more weirded out by being close to a ceiling in a place that I know is high, than I do looking down from a high place.

Though I did get freaked out on a hike while walking on a path that was about 2-3 feet wide with sure death on both sides of me

Yeah, I had some rafter seats at a basketball game and it wasn't working for me. I remember going to the grand canyon as a kid, if I went now I'd probably shite myself

it is so irrational. I just think about how small I am and I feel my shoulders sink and I start to lose it.

I was afraid of riding elevators as a kid. My dad had to take his belt off if I would not ride an elevator.

The weird thing was that I would suffer nervousness and anxiety for six hours riding to Houston because I knew I had to ride an elevator to see my grandma.

The elevator ride to the third floor was only 15 seconds.

As I got older, I forced myself to ride elevators at the Baton Rouge Clinic and local hospitals. Exposure therapy helps.
