Interesting. Those twin bridges have never bothered me much. The original one that goes into Vidalia is a tad bit narrow for my taste though.
I got stuck in some unGodly standstill traffic on the old bridge in BR once and I was in the right lane looking out and I did contemplate whether or not having it bumper to bumper the whole way across was gonna bring the whole thing down. lolThis post was edited on 2/23/21 at 6:11 pm

Too narrow and the water swirling below makes me dizzy.

I have a fear of tunnels. The bridge at Lake Charles never bothered me. After hurricane Laura, I might not go up that bridge any more.
