Interesting. Those twin bridges have never bothered me much. The original one that goes into Vidalia is a tad bit narrow for my taste though. I got stuck in some unGodly standstill traffic on the old bridge in BR once and I was in the right lane looking out and I did contemplate whether or not having it bumper to bumper the whole way across was gonna bring the whole thing down. lol

Too narrow and the water swirling below makes me dizzy.

I have a fear of tunnels. The bridge at Lake Charles never bothered me. After hurricane Laura, I might not go up that bridge any more.
