No.

I understand that I've actually purchased a homing device that I keep in my pocket, and that it can hear what I say and see what I'm doing...I get it.

But I refuse to add devices like Alexa or any of those things which need to "listen" in order to even work and constantly have access to the internet.

Sad thing is that I grew up waiting for The Jetsons to actually happen. Now that we're approaching that, the fact that everything is linked to the internet in order to have a "smart house" makes me want to ensure my house is a fricking dullard.

I - momentarily - was slightly annoyed during the deep freeze here in Texas that I couldn't order pizza online because their site was down and had to - *gasp* - pick up the phone to order delivery.

I quickly came to my senses lol.
