I'm looking to purchase some recreational land between 50-100 acres in either LA or MS. I do not want to eventually turn it into my personal residence. I just want somewhere to camp, hunt, and ride trails.

Who is the best lender for this type of loan? Does anyone know what type of rates and terms to expect?

Call your local landbank and have 20% to put down. Some instances you can get away with 15% but more than likely you better be ready to plop down 20%.

Yep, Louisiana Land Bank...we’ve been working with them for a while. Good folks and no issues and the annual refund is nice.

Is that a 1% refund on your annual note?

Give me a shout man. I'm with AgAmerica Lending based out of Baton Rouge. We're the largest non-bank lender on these types of properties in the country.
