Imagine if a white athlete says this even though if the message was the same. Face the facts, we have different standards for different groups even though we harp on equality. As long as this exists, the US will be forever divided. And at this point I don’t give a shite about it either because as much as you try to be friendly and reasonable, others don’t want unity.
Yesterday I saw a black woman at the grocery store with a shirt that said “it’s a black thing, you wouldn’t understand it”. If I wore that shirt of my race, I would be embarrassed but this woman is embracing an ignorant message and no one confronts or tells her about it. Again, different standards for each group.
