All one needs to do is look at the DOE order, posted online in its entirety, to see this is fake news. People making up this crap are destroying this country with the help of those too lazy or too stupid to do simple fact checking before spreading it. How do we know this isn't being generated by our enemies.
If you look at the emergency order, on page 2 it clearly allows Texas to do whatever is needed to maintain sufficient generation capabilities. The Republicans in Texas created this fiasco and know relying on their all too stupid base to spread the fake reports blaming Biden.
