When will bill gates start making sacrifices?
Him donating billions of dollars in the past didn't affect his lifestyle at all.. it didn't affect his family's life. Because he had more money than they could've spent in a several hundred years.
The sacrifice he wants..is the kind that will affect the lives of everyone else.

That was him purchasing virtue just like he'd buy anything else.
When you have billions upon billions of dollars you cannot possibly spend it all on physical material things.
