The reality is, natural gas is about as “green” a resource as you can get. There are few actually cleaner means to power things and appliances that use it take fewer parts and typically run much longer than their corresponding electric versions.

What I find sad is how these narratives have been hijacked and politicized. “Green” is stupid. Solar and wind are not stupid, they just need to be deployed in the correct circumstances. Nuclear is safe and efficient. Natural gas is clean but we just exposed some serious midstream liabilities.
It’s just energy but we let the talking heads politicize this. It’s irritating.
