If it's frozen pipe, it wouldn't do damage until you got above freezing for some time. If's a one story, then the only water pipe in the attic space should be hot water heater feed and return. If you have a two story, the second story should provide enough insolation for that plumbing not to freeze. Are you getting sunshine yet? If so, I would go with snow/sleet melt going through your roof.
