In this highly industrial country, high altitude would have some effect, but close air support wouldn't turn out all that effective. We have advantages that other countries don't. I'm going to leave it at that.

The only things that would be able to counter that is equipment operated and maintained by either Active Duty military or the National Guard. Yes, the US has outstanding air defense, but it is manned by professional military members.
