. . And I think he can be a great player. But that being said he isn’t a good fit for this team. It’s obvious from just a few games that Kira is a much better fit. I have been a big Zo fan and believer but he doesn’t go well with Ingram and Zion. It’s as simple as that. Zo is currently better IMO than Kira but Kira will be more effective with Ingram and Zion. I also don’t think it’s a good idea to pay Zo what he will want as well

Kira is a better PG than Lonzo has ever been. Lonzo would be better suited to develop into that Bruce Bowen role. Spend entire game locking down best offensive player and hit an occasional 3

the problem with lonzo is the next contract will not be based on performance but on future development. after a while you just have to say hes never going to be the guy you would choose #2 overall.
good but not great.
maybe he becomes great but you cannot pay for maybe.

looking at 2017 draft

I wanted Tatum. went #3
not quite what I expected.
fox went 6th or 7th and was the actual best pg choice.

spider and bam were mid round.

it's so difficult.
offer zo a short deal with requirement he works with shooting coach.
maybe the off season sees a big jump in shooting.

Lonzo will never be a great or even serviceable PG as long as he can’t make a layup I mean it’s ridiculous every game he drives to an arms length of the rack then tries some behind the back no look pass straight to the stands when he has a wide open layup if a PG has no finishing skills around the rim is he still a PG?
