Any Griddy energy customers on here? What you doing riding it out with them?

I was sent a text last week saying they are cutting power tomorrow at 8am for maintenance. Hoping it’s canceled, but they haven’t sent a follow up communication and there was no info re: how to find out. Guess I’ll find out tomorrow morning.

Good luck man, my bill for yesterday alone was $92. I switched to Green Mountain Energy just because they were the only ones I could find that could switch me over on Monday.

I have all gas appliances and heater so I’m hoping that helps I don’t know

I'm riding ot out.I tried to switch but waited too long. My bill is currently like $1200 just too keep my pipes from freezing!!! I'm wondering if anyone thinks that this will be one of those cases where they have a class action lawsuit brought against them for price gauging during an emergency.

Are they price gouging? I thought they charged wholesale market pricing, which they don't control.

Yeah Griddy is just passing along the wholesale real time price. They will have issues collecting though.
I thin the issue is many people couldn’t switch bc other providers wouldn’t take them. So I can see that as some type of legal item but not Griddys fault.
