Sums up a whole generation of young mothers in the 50s and 60s who supplemented homemade food with easy processed stuff that was the fad at the time. Could always count on Grandma having a couple cans when we visited, decades later.

I think about eating it on some vintage corning ware dishes that would probably be worth a mint if they hadn't been used daily for 70 years.
