Saw this in a game store earlier,..now I had this game at one time back in the day and I believe that I let it go for $5-$10 as a teen (while trying to obtain ps1 games). Didnt know any better, or cared at the time.
Also got me thinking, do you ever check up on all the now-prices of your old games? And if so, which one is your most valuable?

Not a super old game, but I sold NCAA 14 a year or so ago for a cool $90.
I feel even better now that the series is coming back and that game will lose a little bit of its pedestal

I check on some cart prices every once in a while.
Specifically Mega Man III, I sold my cart for around $150 in 2012, believe the price is doubled.
The only carts/physical copies of games I still collect are Zelda and Pokemon games.

I have Earthbound for SNES with the original guide that came with it. I don’t have the box anymore though.
That sells for quite a bit of money depending on where you look. Game with guide, I’ve seen $500+.

I sold my Eartbound game for $250 a couple years back.
I have the guide, but I used it/looked through it so much that the pages came off the binding so I don't think that would do well

I remember that box as a kid behind the glass in KMarts and Walmarts.
Never did I know what I missed not playing that game until adulthood. Maybe it is better I played it for the first time as a 30yr old, I felt like I understand what makes it a masterpiece better than as a kid.

Not only that, those are GOAT games in their genre.

Most expensive one I used to have was probably MUSHA for Genesis or Megaman 2 for NES.
According to eBay, MUSHA is going for upwards of $600 in box.

I remember that I bought the game because I was looking through the guide and thought "this game just looks cool." I've beaten it at least 3 times now. Between that and Super Mario RPG, I just flat out enjoy playing those two because of how great they are now
