Anybody stay there and play? Planning a trip for April. Playing 3 courses and a par 3.

Yes, I went there a couple of years ago. I played Buffalo Ridge, Ozark National, and Top of the Rock. Make sure to carve out time to go to the range at top of the rock. It sounds crazy until you see pictures of the place. If you have a good camera, bring it! We were watching them blast out the mountain side to build Payne’s Valley. Ozark National had opened for a week and closed for the winter. All fun courses. Very fun. Most tees are up the mountain so you can bomb it down the hill.

It’s an awesome golf trip! I can’t wait to go back.

Honestly, I would say just do a range day at Top of the Rock and eat there. Really cool place but way to expensive for 9 par 3's. The view from the porch by #1 tee box may be the best on the whole property.

What’s really cool about the range is that all they have to do is sweep the range clean. It all goes into a subterranean system ball return. Even balls in the water get filtered out by the water filter system. Or so we were told.

It’s all turf. That flat spot in the middle sticking out is about 200. We went between roasting 5is and hitting 4hs at it. The pro hooked us up with balls. I think I hit about 200 balls that day.

For a guys trip, there’s an underground whisky tasting room you can rent. I’ll try to find that pic.

Great pictures!

Big Cedar is quickly becoming a premier golf trip destination. Y'all need to hurry and plan a trip there before it becomes too cool and prices go up 50%. I have heard great things about Tiger's new course as well.

Thanks, and I agree with you. The champions tour already had an event there, but now they have 2 or 3. With the addition of Ozark National and Payne's Valley (Tiger's course) the pace is about to explode. I think this will be the last season with reasonable packages and rates. Its already fairly expensive.

That’s one of the reasons we booked early this spring. Check it off the list while still can

Me and 4 buddies are going in April.

I went last fall with family and it was amazing. I think the secret will get out so I would hurry and go. We stayed at the lodge and I had 0 complaints when I left. The bourbon bar that is underground is a must see.

I think you would enjoy it!

Northlatiger and Geaux fortwo how was the trip? I’m going on a guys trip in June. Bought the package that includes three big courses+top of the rock. Trying to decide what to do outside of golf. Don’t really want to pay to rent a boat or haul one up there. What would you guys suggest? Kayak fishing doable in kayaks supplied by big cedar (it says kayaks are free for resort guests), Pool scene, dogwood canyon, other hiking areas? Open to pretty much anything outdoorsy.

I want to plan a trip there very badly. My wife, who's not a golfer, wasn't too interested.. then I showed her pictures and all the things to do... she's all in now.
