Where did they come from? I thought all of Derrida, Foucault, Lyotard and Baudrillard were French and the originators of deconstructionism and postmodernism. I’m no expert, though.
Modern Leftist ideas largely come from certain French philosophers in the 18th century (Rousseau being one). The first application of authoritarian Leftist government came in the form of the Committee of Public Safety and its Reign of Terror early 1790s.
Marx was Prussian, but his bullshite evolved from those earlier French examples.
