That is the dumbest thing I've read on here in a long time.

A LONNNG time.

Tell me about the recovery period for bodybuilders when they are stacking muscle. That is the main difference between natty competitors and open competitors. Their is no necessary rest recovery periods for those juicing, the steroids do that for you. These guys are doing insane 6 day splits that is impossible without roids

The roids give you the ability to make muscle by increasing your capacity to workout more, it doesn’t give you the muscles for free

No one said it does it for free. Stop deflecting.

Working out harder breaks down muscle. That's a given. Doing proper recovery
work and sleep is what allows them to rebuild.

YouTube vid with stan, start after 2 minutes product pimping ignore his tshirt and cooler pimping at the beginning.

Basically, the end goal is to get proper nutrient fed blood to the muscles and joints so they can recover.

All the juice in the world with no recovery work will lead to a broken down body.

Active recovery work, limited high intensity low/no weight exercise of the muscles post (and even during) breakdown coupled with sleep are the most important things.

Blood in, blood out. Nutrients in, toxins out.

After fracturing a few vertebrae and listening to doctors tell me to limit weight and intense activity left me barely able to walk every morning and getting worse... I was forced to acknowledge it wasn't working.

Rebuilding and strengthening the back and doing significant stretching and making it a point to walk at least a few miles a day has led to recovery and a deadlift that is fast approaching double my body weight and well over 50% more than 20 year old me could ever dream of. And I wake up relatively pain free.

No roids. No test. No hgh.

The body's natural inflammatory response is not a bad thing. It tells you what to work.
