Its getting kind of ridiculous. We give criminal prosecution leniency to 17 year olds because their brains arent fully developed and they cant fathom the consequences of their actions. A 17 year old is also incapable of making the decision to have consensual sex. Both those things are totally the right call. But dont turn around and tell me that your 6 year old can make a life altering decision based on a concept that adults dont really understand
