ok... so i understand alot of people are still mad at saban, but i think that this should be the final year of the bashing.... we have a damn strong coach in miles. with that said, saban is making his return to TS this year and after that the bashing should stop

There was very little bashing while he was coaching the Dolphins - most people on these boards thought he was following his dream and thanked him for his contributions to LSU and wished him well. Going to BAMA, that's another story.

I, for one, am tired of it. No, I don't really think much of his character, wouldn't say I am a fan. But, I think he regreted leaving LSU and I don't think Bama was his dream job - just as close to getting what he once had.
That being said, I want to beat Bama more than I want to beat anybody else. It is a pride issue, nothing more.

I'd much rather us just beat the heck out of his team. Then, maybe the fans can cheer for him as he runs out the stadium and back to Gump Town, USA.
I'm really hopin that our fan base doesn't pull out another F U Saban chant. Reminds me of the guy in high school with the 1 inch prick that could never get any. He just kept insulting the starting QB who was hitting half of the cheerleaders.
When will we stop treating Saban like he's actually won something away from LSU? When will our fan base realize that Croom is more of a threat to LSU right now than Saban?
