Some weather terminology has changed.
A hundred years ago we did not have 'hurricanes'. We called them 'big storms.'
Fifty years ago was said 'The temp is 88'. Today we say 'The feels like is 98.'
Ten years ago we counted the number of hurricanes this year. Today we count the number of named storms this year (much bigger number).
The biggest improvement in the climate over the last 20 years has been solving the ozone crisis. We almost saw humanity destroyed. But govt was wise enough to ban Arid Extra Dry deodorant spray and we were saved just in the nick of time.
