Well, no... memes that lie to swing elections are perfectly fine. Memes that try to fool voters into thinking they are voting when they are not might be illegal. Personally, I don't like this though. The law this is based on does not seem appropriate for this case, IMO, but IANAL:

Did they really prevent or hinder their free exercise of their rights? They certainly didn't prevent it, and I can't really see their meme as an actual hindrance. The intent of the law seems to be for things completely different. If they want a law about election misinformation they should have to make one.
