Equality: every team has an equal opportunity to win the championship.

Equality: anyone can shop at the grocery store and choose their own ingredients and foods and some can buy more and some can buy less and some can buy filet and some can buy frozen ground meat but everyone has equal access to the store and life is what you make it
Equity: there is no store. The government owns the store. Now there is only item in the store: old bread. and everyone gets a single ticket for a slice of bread each week.
