This episode was better, but the sitcom portion was still a chore to watch. Once they get into the conspiracy it gets watchable. I get that keeping it to 26 minutes is an homage to sitcoms, but it doesn’t leave a lot of time for development. Would be nice to get five or ten minutes of sitcom followed by thirty or forty minutes of the cracks in the facade and clues coming forward.
